Long before destination elopements were part of Mindful Media, travel was already a huge part of our life.

We spent years on the road touring with our music, raising our family along the way and getting very comfortable with plans changing, unfamiliar places and figuring things out as we went.

These days the RV has been replaced by planes, hiking boots and way too much camera gear — but that part of us hasn’t really changed.

When you bring us somewhere new, you’re not hiring a team that needs everything to be familiar. We know how to research, scout, adjust and make a plan work when we’re far from home.

A REAL DESTINATION ELOPEMENT

They were
planning Tahoe.
Then Italy happened.

Katie and Phillip originally reached out to us about eloping in Lake Tahoe.

When we told them we weren’t available because we’d be in the Dolomites, Katie told us something we weren’t expecting — Italy was actually where they had wanted to elope in the first place. They just hadn’t been able to find a photo + video team they felt good about.

So they changed the plan.

Tahoe became the Dolomites, we met them halfway across the world, and a few weeks later we were hiking into the mountains together for their wedding day.

Even the weather had other ideas. Storms were rolling in, so we moved everything earlier and let the clouds do their thing.

DO WE NEED TO KNOW WHERE WE WANT TO ELOPE BEFORE CONTACTING YOU?

Not at all. Some couples come to us with an exact location. Others come with “mountains, somewhere in Europe.” We can work with either.

ARE TRAVEL COSTS INCLUDED?

Our destination collections include travel for our team, so you’re not getting a separate pile of flights, hotels and rental car expenses added afterward.

CAN WE LEGALLY GET MARRIED IN ANOTHER COUNTRY?

Sometimes. The rules vary a lot depending on the country. Many couples take care of the legal paperwork at home and have their actual ceremony wherever they want. We’ll help you figure out what makes the most sense.

CAN WE BRING FAMILY OR FRIENDS?

Absolutely. A destination elopement can be just the two of you or include the people you can’t imagine doing this without.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH AND FILM THE WHOLE THING YOURSELVES?

Yes. Photo + film are handled by our team, which means everything is created with the same approach and you’re not coordinating separate companies in another country.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE REACH OUT?

The earlier the better for international locations, especially if permits, flights or accommodations need to be figured out. But if you have a wild idea and a shorter timeline, ask us anyway.
