Do we need a permit to elope in the Redwoods?
Yes. Weddings, elopements, and vow exchanges in Redwood National and State Parks require a permit. The exact process depends on whether your ceremony location is on National Park or State Park land, and we’ll help you figure out what applies to your location.
Can we do the Redwoods and the coast in the same day?
Absolutely. Some of our favorite days start in the forest and end at the coast, and we’ll build the timeline around both.
What’s the best time of year for a Redwoods elopement?
The Redwoods are beautiful year-round. We’ll help you think through weather, crowds and light based on the kind of day you want.
Can we bring family or friends?
Yes. Some locations work better for small groups than others, so guest count is something we consider when helping you choose a spot.
