YOSEMITE

WILD

YOSEMITE ELOPEMENTS

Some places make you slow down.

Yosemite has a way of doing that.

The granite walls, quiet mornings, winding roads, and views that make you forget what time it is. It’s the kind of place where an elopement can feel less like an event you’re trying to manage and more like a day you actually get to experience.

We’ve photographed and filmed Yosemite elopements from sunrise in the high country to evenings in the Valley, and we’ll help you build a day around the places, light, and experience that feel right for you.

Less rushing. More being there.

PLANNING A YOSEMITE ELOPEMENT

A place this wild
takes a little planning.

Yosemite is incredible, but there are a few moving parts — permits, seasonal road closures, crowds, ceremony locations, changing weather, and figuring out when the light is actually worth waking up for.

That’s where we come in.

We’ll help you choose locations that work well together, build a timeline that doesn’t feel rushed, navigate permits and park logistics, and plan around the best light so you can spend less time worrying about the details and more time actually being there.

WHERE THE DAY CAN TAKE YOU

Yosemite doesn’t really do just one kind of view.

You can start the day down in the Valley, surrounded by granite walls and trees, and end it hours later somewhere high above everything with the light changing across the mountains.

That’s one of the things we love most about Yosemite elopements. You don’t have to pick one backdrop and stay there all day.

We usually help couples choose a few places that feel different from each other, then build the timeline so there’s actually time to enjoy them instead of racing from one viewpoint to the next.

GLACIER POINT

TAFT POINT

YOSEMITE VALLEY

Huge views, beautiful light, and one of those places that immediately feels like Yosemite.

A little more adventurous, a little more dramatic, and worth the walk if that’s your kind of thing.

Meadows, forest, waterfalls, and quieter spots that feel completely different from being up high.

A FEW REALLY GOOD PLACES. PLENTY OF TIME TO ACTUALLY BE IN THEM.

OUT THERE

A LITTLE ABOUT US

We’ve always been more comfortable out there.

Long before we were photographing Yosemite elopements, we were traveling the country in an RV, making music, hiking wherever we could, and figuring out which road we wanted to take next.

Apparently we never really grew out of that.

These days, we get to bring that same love of being outside into what we do — helping couples plan days that feel adventurous without turning the whole thing into a production.

We’re Lee + Angie, a husband-and-wife photo + video team, and we’re there for a lot more than the pretty pictures. We’ll help with the plan, keep things moving when they need to, and know when to get out of the way and let you have the moment.

We know the early alarms, trail snacks, weather pivots, and “is this actually the road?” moments.

TOGETHER

PHOTO + FILM / ONE TEAM

One team. One plan.
No juggling five different people.

Our photo + video team works from the same plan, the same timeline, and the same approach — so your day never feels like two separate crews competing for time.

We’re watching the same light, paying attention to the same moments, and working together so your photos and film feel like they actually belong together.

And because we’re already helping with locations, timing, permits, and the little details leading up to the day, you’re not starting over with a new person every step of the way.

Less coordinating. More actually getting married.

A REAL YOSEMITE ELOPEMENT

The best part is getting to actually live the day.

DETAILS

YOSEMITE ELOPEMENT FAQ

A few things couples usually want to know.

Planning an elopement in Yosemite comes with a lot of questions. Here are the answers to the ones we hear most.

DO WE NEED A PERMIT TO ELOPE IN YOSEMITE?

Yes, a ceremony permit is required for all elopements in Yosemite National Park. We’ll guide you through the process and help with the details.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE PLAN OUR YOSEMITE ELOPEMENT?

We recommend starting 3–6 months in advance, especially for weekend dates. That gives us time to plan the day and secure your permit.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER CHANGES?

Yosemite weather can shift quickly. We build flexibility into the timeline and always have a backup plan.

CAN WE VISIT MORE THAN ONE LOCATION IN ONE DAY?

Absolutely. Many couples have their ceremony in one place and explore somewhere else for photos. We’ll help build a timeline that flows.

CAN WE BRING FAMILY OR FRIENDS?

Yes. You can include a few loved ones or keep it just the two of you. We’ll help you choose locations that work for your group size.

DO YOU OFFER PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO TOGETHER?

Yes. Our photo + video team works together from the same plan and timeline, so the experience feels cohesive from start to finish.
