Bethani and Greg’s summer Yosemite Falls elopement was relaxed, joyful, and full of intentional moments. Their elopement took place in June on a warm, clear afternoon. We stayed entirely on the Yosemite Valley floor, moving between several iconic locations with easy access and no long hikes, which is exactly what the couple requested.
From a quiet picnic overlooking Yosemite Falls to vows, dancing, champagne, and lantern photos at Tunnel View, their elopement was simple in the best way. It focused on being present, staying connected, and soaking in the views together.
As a Yosemite elopement photographer and videographer team, this kind of elopement is exactly why we love what we do. Keep reading for inspiration if you’re planning a Yosemite Falls elopement with minimal hiking and maximum meaning.

Bethani and Greg have such a calming presence and obvious connection. During our time together for their Yosemite Falls elopement, they laughed often, checked in with each other instinctively, and moved through the day as a team. I loved their energy!
When they started planning their elopement, they knew they wanted something meaningful but uncomplicated. No rushing, and no big hikes. They just wanted to focus on time together in nature, so the valley floor gave them everything they were looking for.

Because Bethani and Greg wanted only easy-access locations, we planned their day around some of the most beautiful and accessible spots in Yosemite Valley. This gallery showcases all of the locations we visited, all without long hikes or complicated logistics.
As your elopement photographer, I’m happy to help plan a day that fits your vision! And, we offer all-inclusive elopement packages if you’re looking for multiple services like photography, videography, officiating, music, and more!
We spent the first part of their elopement exploring the Yosemite Valley floor. Wide open meadows, towering granite walls, and classic valley views made for an incredible start to the day. This is one of my favorite ways to photograph elopements in Yosemite.
You get so much variety just by moving around the valley. Each stop feels different, but the day stays relaxed. It’s perfect for couples who want iconic scenery without the pressure of hiking or rushing from place to place.

Midway through the day, Bethani and Greg took a break for a picnic overlooking Yosemite Falls. June is an especially beautiful time to be here, with the waterfall flowing strong and the valley feeling vibrant and alive.
I love adding a picnic into an elopement day. It creates space to slow down, reconnect, and just enjoy being together. This spot is peaceful, scenic, and ideal for a quiet pause before the ceremony.

Tunnel View was the ceremony location, and it was the perfect choice. With El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and Half Dome all visible in the distance, it offers one of the most iconic backdrops in Yosemite National Park.
Bethani and Greg exchanged vows here with Lee officiating. Tunnel View is one of my go-to ceremony spots for couples who want a dramatic view!

After their vows, Bethani and Greg shared their first dance right there at Tunnel View. Dancing together with the valley stretched out behind them was such a meaningful moment. They followed it with a champagne toast as newlyweds. It was perfectly simple and joyful.

We stayed at Tunnel View as the light softened and the sky began to change. Sunset brought a quieter, more romantic feel to the overlook. To end the evening, we brought out lanterns for photos as the light faded. It was a cozy way to close out their elopement day.
