We had an absolute blast celebrating Madelyn and Akmal at their gorgeous Tahoe Blue Estate wedding! They opted for an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony surrounded by Lake Tahoe’s natural beauty, followed by an al fresco dinner with their closest friends and family. It was a dreamy July night, and we had the perfect weather for their outdoor festivities. Keep reading to see more from their wedding day!

And that’s just the beginning – the backyard oasis offers beautiful views of Heavenly Ski Resort, spanning from the gondola’s base to Stagecoach.

For your wedding, plan to be at Tahoe Blue Estate for a minimum of three nights, with some flexibility based on the season. Inside, contemporary elegance is paired perfectly with the beauty of nature, not only offering a haven for relaxation but also a canvas for crafting unforgettable memories. Outside, the backyard garden looks plucked from the pages of a fairy tale. The gentle slope of the garden can hold twenty-five guest chairs placed amidst the lush greenery. The slope ensures that every attendee enjoys a front-row view of the ceremony and lake backdrop. The garden space transforms seamlessly from a ceremony to a reception. Or, you can opt for an entirely indoor reception if you’d prefer. For post-dinner celebrations, you can hang out under the stars or move indoors.

Madelyn & Akmal’s Tahoe Blue Estate Wedding Ceremony

Madelyn and Akmal got ready in separate rooms of the estate before sharing a precious first look in the backyard. Immediately following their first look, we captured couples portraits and family portraits with the stunning Lake Tahoe backdrop. The guests began to arrive for the wedding ceremony and found their seats in the backyard garden before the ceremony began. The couple and their families used the stairway down to the base of the garden as a grand entrance into the ceremony space. After Madelyn and Akmal said their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed it with a kiss, the guests sprayed bubbles for their ceremony exit. It was such a fun touch that the flower girls and ring bearer especially enjoyed! 

Celebrating with a Dinner & Dancing

As the evening continued, we captured a few more photos of the couple around the estate. All the while, the garden was being transformed into a reception space with round tables for dinner and a space for toasts and speeches. While the area was getting a makeover, guests kicked back and enjoyed some mingling during the cocktail hour. The cocktail hour was hosted inside on the main level of the estate.

As sunset drew near, we whisked Madelyn and Akmal away for sunset portraits around the estate. After, they joined their friends and family back indoors for the reception dance party. 

Sadly, the night came to an end, and we reflected on what an epic wedding day it had been. Madelyn and Akmal’s Tahoe Blue Estate wedding was nothing short of amazing! We loved getting to capture the special moments with their closest friends and family.
