We had an absolute blast assisting Dustin in orchestrating his picture-perfect Lake Tahoe proposal for the lovely Lacey! We worked closely with Dustin to plan an unforgettable surprise that would leave Lacey speechless. Planning their Sunrise Proposal

When Dustin first reached out to us with his proposal plans for Lacey, our excitement meter skyrocketed! Lake Tahoe and the breathtaking Emerald Bay hold a special place in our hearts, so the opportunity to craft and capture this moment for them there had us filled with anticipation. In the lead-up to the big day, we teamed up with Dustin to meticulously map out every detail, ensuring that every element unfolded flawlessly.

Now, here’s where things get even more thrilling! Since we were doubling up as videographers for this proposal, we went the extra mile to make sure Dustin’s words to Lacey were crystal clear. We stashed a microphone for Dustin at his hotel’s front desk to provide him with the ultimate secret – a microphone in his pocket! This clever move ensured that every word he spoke to Lacey during the proposal was captured, all without tipping her off to the surprise. Talk about planning perfection!

Their Lake Tahoe Proposal

In our mission to keep this proposal a surprise, we hatched a sneaky plan. Dustin was set to meet up with us at the designated GPS pin location. Then, he’d shoot us a text when he was all set at his spot. Once we’d received that covert message, we would stealthily close in, while sending another text to confirm we were ready.

Just as the sun was on the brink of breaking free from its cloudy cover, Dustin took the plunge and dropped down on one knee. And, what impeccable timing it was! The moment Lacey said “yes,” the sun beamed through the clouds, casting a radiant glow over them. It was a spectacular moment to witness!

As the sun continued to rise, we took the time to capture some couples’ portraits of the newly engaged couple. We lucked out with a magnificent full rainbow that arched behind the majestic mountains. Those photos quickly became some of our all-time favorites from this Lake Tahoe proposal!

Now, here’s the twist in the story – we were sweating over rain all morning, as the forecast predicted rain for the day. But, lo and behold, it turned out to be the perfect weather with these beautifully dramatic clouds!

We’re absolutely thrilled to have been a part of Dustin and Lacey’s magical Lake Tahoe proposal. It was one of those mornings that will stick with us, and we’re pretty certain it’ll hold a special place in their hearts too.
